The Savor Nashville event is a weekend of culinary events put on by Nashville Lifestyles magazine. This year, WeMakeVideos was excited to be documenting the weekend for them. This was the 4th annual event and our first time attending but we were delighted with this assignment! The first event was the Celebrity Chef Dinner Tour at the Hutton Hotel. It’s not too often that you get to indulge in a 7 course dinner with wine pairing and since we were working, we didn’t quite get to relax and enjoy ALL of the pairings but we can vouch that the food and wine was amazing! One of my favorite parts of the evening was that each chef got to introduce their dish and then Jenn McCathy, the sommelier, would also introduce the pairing. It is always fun to hear the inspiration, back story or passion that resulted in the creation of a dish or wine. The evening was full of good people, great food and wine, and a silent auction that benefitted Second Harvest Food Bank. The next event was the Savor Nashville Brunch on a sunny and warm Saturday morning at the Bridge Building. This was a fun event because local chefs were challenged to use local ingredients for a brunch cook-off. We were completely spoiled with so many amazing dishes that were prepared. It was suppose to be a tasting but the portions were so generous we couldn’t make it to all the chefs’ tables! Next time, I will need to plan better. I really loved this event because I could add new restaurants to my “Eat Here” list! Nashville Lifestyles magazine will be posting the videos as part of their social media content. It is always fun to shoot videos at Music City events. Nashville has so many fun and interesting things to offer that being the ones in charge of capturing it for others to see and spread the word is just too awesome. The videos will be posted soon so stay tuned!
